Summer House

Booka Shade's new album is imminent and we all know how good their last LP was. So here's a taster of things to come, and if it's anything near a benchmark for the album, their summer shows promise to be something truly special.

Booka Shade - Solo City

And this is my other favourite house track of the moment, having pretty much anything you could want from a house track. It retty much encapsulates a blissed out, sun drenched, summer's afternoon spent with friends on a remote beach somewhere. It doesn't get much better than that at the moment as far as i'm concerned. Unless it disgustingly bass laden sludge metal from teh likes of Iron Monkey, freakish grind from Cutting Pink With Knives or the lastest mix from Klever or Bird Peterson.

Quivver - Surin

Oh yeah.

Next time, expect more remixes from The Shoes (I think this lot are going to get big on the remix circuit this year, more so even than with their own stuff. Witch is also ace) and some really bass heavy baltimore i've been digging recently.
